Get Golf Ready!

Take your game to the next level! SGCC offers programs that are designed to teach everything you’ll need to play golf in just a few lessons. Director of Instruction C.P.G.A Class A Chris Dickson will show you that there are lots of ways to play by combining fun, friends, and technique. Chris has been the Director of Instruction at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club since 2014 and instructs all SGCC programs and clinics. He brings a wealth of teaching experience with him from teaching playing professionals, and top-level amateurs to beginners.

More About Chris Dickson:

Playing experience:

Chris was a touring professional for 8 years from 2001 – 2009 where he won 8 events and holds 2 course records while playing the – PGA Tour, Canadian Tour and Asian Tour.

Teaching and Coaching Awards:
Chris first started coaching in Texas before moving back home to obtain his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology while coaching the Western University Golf Team. Chris also coached the Canadian National University Team.

2011 – OUA Golf Coach of the Year Award
2011 – Nominated the GAO Developmental Coach of the Year
2010 – OUA Golf Coach of they Year Award

Clinics & Private Lessons

Each clinic will focus on a specific area of the game, and allow you to acquire the skills you will use while playing.

Private lessons of 30 minutes each with the use of the V1 Swing Analysis System are also available for Members and Non-Members:

$85 - (1) 30-Minute Lesson
$225 – 3-Lesson Package

CANCELLATION POLICY: At least 48 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson.

What You Need...

Your golf equipment, golf course attire (see Dress Code) and a desire to have fun! Golf balls will be provided for your use.
